Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

This evidence-based therapeutic therapy is an effective treatment for various issues such as anxiety, depression, substance misuse, relationship difficulties and emotional and wellbeing issues. CBT involves working with thinking patterns to change behaviours. Individual sessions last 50 minutes and clients will be asked to undertake work outside of the session. Sessions are available in person or online.

Individual parent/guardian consultations

These involve a one-to-one consultation which will involve obtaining a full developmental history of your child, review of any school reports or documents and a discussion regarding your concerns for your child. This will take approximately one hour.

Parenting Courses

Parenting courses are facilitated based on demand. Six sessions cover topics such as supporting children with anxiety, developing children’s self-esteem, promoting children’s wellbeing, communicating with children and supporting children’s organizational skills.
